The Cockroach is an incredibly resilent pest. Some species can remain active for an entire month, without food or water. In fact, cockroaches have been known to survive on very limited resources; such as the glue from a postage stamp, or the oil from a fingerprint.
With that being said, you can imagine how difficult it is to eradicate them; once they have infested an area.

Bark Scorpion Feeding
Considered the most venomous scorpion in North America, the venom from a Bark scorpion bite can inflict severe pain, coupled with numbness and tingling; typically lasting between 24 and 72 hours.
